FREE Earth Carer Course
Registration for the March 2020 Earth Carers Course is now OPEN. To register, fill in your details and join the Waste Education Team for the free Earth Carers Program.
The Earth Carers training course is a 5 - session program including excursions and practical demonstrations with materials provided.
The course overview:
- Definition and history of waste;
- How we deal with waste in Perth and how your local Government manages waste in your neighbourhood;
- Reducing, reusing and recycling options;
- Tour of landfill site, recycling centre and composting facility;
- Demonstrations of reusing organics including worm farming, composting and small space composting;
- How to communicate the responsible waste message to others.
You will be overwhelmed, enthused, depressed and inspired often all at the same time!
