NENA is pleased to host speakers from "Australia reMADE" in our July National Webinar. Join us to find out about the Australia reMADE initiative, and how it connects to building a new economy for Australia.

ABOUT AUSTRALIA REMADE

Australia reMADE promotes a vision for Australia, and the systems change needed to create it. Australia remade is an independent, non-profit leadership network for reMAKERS at all levels of society.

We help people become reMAKERS – building and strengthening the best version of us, a vision for Australia reMADE. We do this through tools, ideas and connections that help people lead from where they are.

SPEAKERS -

** Dr Millie Rooney - is the National Coordinator for Australia reMADE, a network of civil society leaders promoting a vision of the country we’re aiming for, and the systems change needed to create it. Millie has a teaching and research background and has worked in and around universities for over fifteen years. She is passionate about supporting people to translate ideas into action and helping them to learn to lead from where they are. Millie is also a carer for her family and community as is passionate about acknowledging this as a valid, valuable and legitimate use of her time.

** Louise Tarrant

Louise Tarrant is a lifelong unionist and spent many years United Workers Union (when it was United Voice), including as National Secretary. Louise is currently on the Board of Greenpeace Asia Pacific and the Climate Action Network (CANA) and is the current chair of the Australia reMADE Secretariat. Louise is passionate about dismantling the concentration of power and wealth that undermines our national sense of a fair go and fair play, that hollows out our democracy and puts business interests ahead of our environment.
