Hey, this is Allan 'Big Al' Connolly and I have worked from Home for most of the 33 years I have been in Australia. As a Consultant I was able to Network in the traditional way at Business Networking Events, but never really felt included as I did not have a Commercial Premise like many of the other Association members..

Back in 2019, I founded Kommuniti HQ and started getting to know my neighbours in Kingsley on and offline. I built a membership base of over 1500 neighbours using the Nextdoor App where we shared Recommendations, kept Neighbourhood Watch and chatted about our neighbourhood in general.

We then started an initiative called Kommuniti Cafe, and supported the Local Dome Coffee Shop by coming together for a chat once a month at first, but then grew to twice a month.

Over the next 12 months we will begin hosting a series of Entrepreneurship, Micro-Business, and Home Based Business Networking Events across the City of Joondalup.
